• “Plant-based” or “soy” foam that’s still polyurethane with a dash (up to 30% at best) of plant oils mixed in.
• Vague terms (“eco-friendly,” “natural”) with no third-party certification on the finished mattress
• “Water-based” glue claims, adhesives can still emit VOCs; sewn or hand-tufted builds use less glue, and our Certified Organic mattresses use no glue at all.
